This cutting board has anti-bacterial effect through immersion in our platinum nanoparticle solution.

Hinoki cypress grown in Kishu, Wakayama was used.

 

Result of anti-bacterial test for the cutting board

The test was conducted using Staphylococcus aureus.

Staphylococcus aureus strain was innoculated on the cutting board and cultured for 18 hours to determine the bacteriostatic activity, obtaining a good result.

The bacteriostatic activity of the cutting board was 5.7 compared to the control.
